With over 22 years in the education technology industry, Jon is an experienced senior executive adept at collaborating with education leaders and institutions to help them evaluate, acquire, and implement solutions to enhance K-12 community performance.

From 2018 to 2023, Jon was a key member of the executive leadership team at LearnPlatform, serving as Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Success. In this role, he built and led the growth team and functions, significantly contributing to LearnPlatform's recognition on Fast Company's prestigious annual list of the World's Most Innovative Companies for 2023, where it ranked #2 in the Education category and #38 overall. Jon also played a pivotal role in guiding LearnPlatform through a highly successful acquisition by Instructure, Inc. and supported post acquisition business integration and government relations work at Instructure, in 2023.

Prior to joining LearnPlatform, Jon held sales leadership roles at School Improvement Network, Renaissance Learning, Pearson K-12 Technology, and PowerSchool, a division of Apple. He has been a presenter/speaker at numerous conferences and events including SETDA, CoSN, NCCE, CGCS, AASA, ERDI, IEI, RTM and others. Jon holds a Master of Science degree in Education, with emphasis in Education Technology, from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management Information Systems from the University of Washington. He enjoys time with family, serving in his church, fly fishing, good food, sports, travel and linguistics.
